Qwest Discounts
Just thought I'd share this tip in case you've never tried it. I just got off the phone with Qwest because our 12 month promotional discounts had expired and I wanted to see if we qualified for any other discounts. They told me Direct TV could give us $10 off/month for 12 months for being a good customer. This isn't the first time I've called Qwest just to see what they're offering and I can usually get some type of discount. They also told me to call back in the fall because that's when they'll be starting a bunch of new promotions.
So even if you don't have Qwest, I bet most phone/cable/internet type companies can give you a discount if you just call and ask. The 10 minutes I was on the phone was definitely worth the $120 I'll save this year.

New Releases for $10
Thought you might like to know that if you go to Target.com right now, you can pre-order some great movies for 9.99 plus free shipping. I even selected ship my items separately when they become available and the shipping was still free. I got Star Trek, Harry Potter 6, G-Force and Night at the Museum 2...I just thought it was a pretty good deal so I wanted to pass it on.

Where do you get your checks?
I don't have to order checks that often, but I usually just order them online and try to get a decent deal. I recently had to order and had found that they were $13/box from Checks in the Mail. With shipping and handling, the total came to $23. That seemed ridiculous, so I did a little searching and found that Walmart.com offers check printing.
I know some people who are morally opposed to shopping at Walmart, but I'm all about finding a deal and shop there often. My total with shipping and handle came to $13 for the exact same box of checks. Sweet!
