New Releases for $10
Thought you might like to know that if you go to Target.com right now, you can pre-order some great movies for 9.99 plus free shipping. I even selected ship my items separately when they become available and the shipping was still free. I got Star Trek, Harry Potter 6, G-Force and Night at the Museum 2...I just thought it was a pretty good deal so I wanted to pass it on.

Where do you get your checks?
I don't have to order checks that often, but I usually just order them online and try to get a decent deal. I recently had to order and had found that they were $13/box from Checks in the Mail. With shipping and handling, the total came to $23. That seemed ridiculous, so I did a little searching and found that Walmart.com offers check printing.
I know some people who are morally opposed to shopping at Walmart, but I'm all about finding a deal and shop there often. My total with shipping and handle came to $13 for the exact same box of checks. Sweet!

Shutterfly, anyone?
I got an offer from Shutterfly for a free 8x8 photo book. I can share the offer with up to three friends, but they have to be new Shutterfly users. If you have not yet signed up with them, but think you might be interested, let me know and I'll hook you up.
The offer was marketed as a Father's Day deal, but I actually used it to make a baby book for Caroline. They have a template called "Sweet Baby" by Becky Higgins that is wonderful! I totally recommend it. You still have to pay for shipping and tax. My total came to just under $9, retails for $35. It's a steal!

Give Away of the Day
The site http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ does just what you think. Everyday they give away something new for free. A lot of the time it's software, but there's also been mp3 downloads, free pictures to print, etc. We've downloaded some good software and it's fun to check what they're offering.

Bargains at the mall
I was thoroughly pleased with the bargains I found at the mall this weekend.
Retail prices: $56 for bag, $6.99 and $4.99 for journals, $10 and $10.50 for lotions, $12 for lip gloss.
Total retail price: $100.48 + tax
What did I pay? $22.40 total.
Sweet.
Belk (a Southern chain?) had their handbags on sale for 50% off lowest price, Bath and Body Works was having their semi-annual clearance, and Waldenbooks had a 75% off clearance section.
Where have you found good clearance deals lately?

Scrapbookers: A free download
One of my favorite scrapbooking gurus, Becky Higgins, has a free download available on her site. She had been selling a really cool kit called Project 365. It encouraged you to take a picture every day this year, just slip them in page protectors and add a tad of journaling at the bottom. A real quick, easy way to save memories from your family. I loved the idea and got online to purchase the kit the morning it went on sale, but it sold out before I could get one. With so many disappointed customers, Becky put many of the items online to print yourself. I love this idea and am keeping up with it so far, all thirteen days of this year. :)
